PAA Alumni Reunion Weekend

Portland Adventist Academy’s annual Alumni Reunion is taking place at PAA May 1-2, 2026!

All current and former PAA students, staff and friends are enthusiastically invited to come together. This year’s honor classes are: ‘46, ’51 (75-year), ‘56, ‘66, ‘76 (50-year), ‘86, ‘96, ‘01 (25-year), ‘06, ‘16, ‘21 (5-year)

The weekend’s activities include:

· Friday, May 1, 6 pm – Golden Agers & Friends Dinner, Library – Welcoming alumni from the ’50s, ‘60s and ’70s – Light Snack / meal will be provided.

· Sabbath, May 2, 10 am, Registration Opens; 10:30 am, Worship Service, including Roll Call, PAA Gym – Speaker: Rita Barrett '76

· Sabbath Lunch – Following the worship service in the Cafe/Gym for PAA Alumni & Friends (Lunch is free; donations appreciated)

· Sabbath, May 2, 2 pm – Class Reunion Meetings – classrooms and as planned 

· Sabbath, May 2, 2 pm – Retirement Celebration for Profe Rita Barrett

Our Special guest for the worship service is Rita Barrett.  Rita Barrett graduated from PAA in 1976. She originally pursued a career in social work, but accidentally fell into teaching Spanish more than three decades ago and discovered a passion for inspiring students to become life-long language lovers. She is wrapping up her 18th and final year at PAA.
