Social Events

**What is the Social Committee?**

We plan and coordinate social events throughout the year for the whole church.  Our purpose is to provide opportunities to enjoy fun activities while strengthening relationships, old and new. 

We meet early in each year to reserve dates and assign leadership roles for the planned events.  Team members help throughout the year as they are able. 

The most well-attended event each Fall, the annual Barn Party, has over 200 in attendance and provides a great opportunity to see many friends (and make new friends) while enjoying a grilled dinner.  Many of the other events are smaller and also provide the opportunity to meet church members who share an interest in fun activities and social gatherings.

**Planned Activities**

The following activities are planned each year, at approximately once a month.  These recurring activities include:

* Hike and bike ride
* Game night
* Strawberry feed
* Softball game and picnic
* Campout
* Church at the park
* Craft day
* Barn party

Look for these events to be mentioned in the Announcements page and show up in the Events list (click the button in the bottom navigation bar)
