Secret Sister 2024

What is the Secret Sister Program? It is an outreach ministry that all of the women in our church are invited to participate in. If you participate you will be assigned a Secret Sister. You will become her silent prayer partner and secret up-lifter. She doesn’t know who you are. Likewise, someone will be caring for you in the same way. Secret Sisters is about encouraging, supporting, and edifying one another in prayer, as well as with notes, cards, or small simple gifts.  The program will run from November - January; at which time we will have a “reveal” celebration on January 12, 2025.

Guidelines:

1.     Know that this is a commitment for approximately 3 months. You will be committing to praying for your Secret Sister on a regular basis.

2.     Encourage her – Send cards, notes, etc. at least twice per month.

3.     Keep her a secret!  Don’t let her know who you are – that will be revealed at the celebration on January 12.

Suggestions:

A.    Ideas for encouragement: Anything from the Heart!!

Cards, thoughtful notes, poems, bookmarks, a journal, or maybe her favorite candy bar can be a delightful surprise. Review her questionnaire to get ideas. Remember keep gifts small.

B.     How to get things to her (secretly):

Send cards through the mail

Bring cards or gifts to the church and leave them in the Secret Sister Basket that will be located in the church lobby.

If you choose to participate, complete the Secret Sister Questionnaire through the church app on line, or fill out a printed form and turn it in to the Information Desk, or you can scan the completed form and email to chrisaltorfer@gmail.com;  deadline for participation is 12:00 pm on October 27. The following week we will be digitally assigning secret sisters. You will receive the name of your secret sister and a copy of her questionnaire by email sometime during the week of October 28.
